My name is Mate — a sailor, Hajduk Split supporter, and lover of the sea and nature.
I was born by the Adriatic, and I’ve spent most of my life chasing the wind between its islands.

Sea Mate is my small corner of the web — a place to share stories from the Croatian coast, the quiet anchorages, the sound of the waves, and the freedom that sailing brings.

Here I write about what I know best:
the feeling of hoisting sails at sunrise, the patience the sea teaches, and the beauty of living simply — between wind and water.
